Hey all!

Happy almost St. Patrick's day!

This last weekend was the busiest I'd had in a long time. I'm in my High School Treble Choir and this weekend we went to the Northwest Gold Festival in downtown Seattle. We sang 3 pieces at St. Joseph's parish in the morning and spent the rest of the day exploring downtown. We spent some time at Pike Place market (a bustling open marketplace that has tons of great food) and the EMP (Experience Music Project) it's sort of a museum of music, but way more fun! Anyway when we got back on the bus to go home, our director announced the scores from the judges at the festival. Our choir got the highest ratings that the judges could give and we ranked as a GOLD choir. ( you can rank as gold, silver, bronze, or not placed) This means that if we lived in Oregon we would qualify for the State competition. But, as we don't live in Oregon, we just get bragging rights, but that's ok too.

Now, for those that aren't really in the whole music scene, this might not be very interesting news...sorry, but I'm just kinda strange like that
